Our community’s health is of the utmost importance to our team.

We provide comprehensive programs of care to meet the changing needs of our community.

HealthWays provides skilled, competent, comprehensive mental health and behavioral health care services to this community. And we’ve been doing it compassionately and professionally since 1964. We offer programs that change and improve lives. Programs that help people deal positively with their situations. We are a fully licensed, private, non-profit organization that provides a wide range of exceptional health care programs in a professional, confidential and caring manner. Formerly known as Hancock-Brooke Behavioral Health Service, we are the oldest and largest agency of our type in the Upper Ohio Valley.

We have a strong history of success in treating clients. We are always seeking opportunities to be responsive to the ever-changing needs of the community through the continuation of quality programming by licensed professionals and the creation of new programming to meet the needs of those we serve.

Services provided include Psychiatric/Medical Services, Psychological Services, counseling services, Adult Substance Abuse Program, Miracles Happen Residential Substance Abuse Program and IOP, Passages for Growth Adult IOP, and Case Management Services. Services for persons with Mental Retardation or Developmental Disabilities include four residential sites, case management services, Workshop Services and Day Treatment Services.

For more than four decades, we have been living our mission. Our advancement of this mission is evidenced by the range of comprehensive services we offer through our main office and eleven off-site programs which are located throughout Brooke, Hancock and Ohio counties.
