HealthWays' Depression Screening - May 20, 2009 In recognition of Mental Health Month and to assist local residents who
seek information regarding depression and related topics, HealthWays' staff
offered a free depression screening this evening.
Senior Expo - March 5, 2009 HealthWays participated in the very successful WEIR Senior Expo. The Expo
was held at the Serbian-American Cultural Center on Colliers Way in Weirton. The
Expo began at 9AM and ended at 1PM. Staff volunteers handed out senior-specific
information regarding depression, addictions awareness, stress, healthy living
and many other topics to interested participants. We estimate 80 persons stopped
by our table to discuss our services and to take away the information. We
were able to give away a great door prize, a 6 foot picnic table, thanks
to the Brooke County Opportunity Center.
